Driven by over 7 years of experience driving breakthrough technologies in computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided engineering (CAE), and energy systems innovation, I am Dr. Kul Pun, a forward-looking research and development engineer. With a focus on multiphase separation, fluid dynamics, and sustainable energy extraction, my area of expertise is engineering solutions for the oil and gas sector. My work combines strategic leadership, technical mastery, and a vision for a future that is more energy efficient.

Driving innovation in engineering: From idea to commercialisation, I have led the development of cutting-edge technologies that are transforming industrial operations. Developing an advanced three-phase separator, especially for the oil and gas industry, is one of my most important projects. This innovation generated £1.2 million in revenue and improved operational efficiency and sustainability for clients in upstream processing. To produce real-world engineering solutions that perform, my method combines sophisticated CAD/CAE tools, data-driven design, and cross-functional collaboration.

Academic Excellence: I hold a PhD in chemical engineering from Teesside University and an MSc in mechanical engineering, underscoring my strong academic foundation and technical prowess.

Mission: Engineering a Cleaner, Smarter Energy Future: In a fast-changing energy scene, I think innovation has to be environmentally responsible as well as technically strong. My goal is to design better engineering solutions that strike a mix between sustainability and performance, enabling sectors to shift towards low-carbon, highly efficient operations.

Research Focus: My research focuses on advancing the development of three-phase separators for the oil and gas industry, exploring bubble characteristics and fluid mechanics. Additionally, I emphasise energy transition and decarbonisation, sustainable fossil fuel extraction technologies, and the economic aspects of energy production and consumption.
